Just throwing the idea out to see if this would be something people would be interested in. The fee is $100 per car for 25 cars (Max). It's held on Wednesday's from 1PM - 5PM.

Is anybody interested in this? Let me know. This needs to be reserved in advance.

Hey SMOKE,

You can't straighten out your car at a normal drag day. The only way to do it is to rent the track.
Let me know what possible dates you get. If my Nova is ready I'd be very interested. If I'm not ready I'll get someone to take my place.

The last time the Nova made a pass at New England Dragway was 1989 Embarassed Embarassed . I think it's about time it saw some sunlight, what do you think?
I think May is doable.

I'm not set on any dates. If you want I can hold off till later in the Month. I was just thinking earlier in the year so the air might be cooler.

What needs to be done on the Nova?

Go for the good air, SMOKE. May is good. April can be tough because the track isn't always there especially at the top end. The moisture comes up through the tar enough to make it dicey at times.
The Nova should be ready.

Hey Smoke, any news on the track rental? Can you tell I'm getting sick of this cold yet? My car is going to the chassis shop to have a wheelie bar and parachute mount today, and after that I'm ready! My garage is only 35' long, and the trailer is only 24' so I can't get out of first gear before having to stop. Head Bang It's frustrating to say the least.[/b]
