We have had some mid to low 40s this week, and the little bit of snow we had is completely gone. I have a old 89 yamaha 550 snow mobile that I want to ride if it ever snows and actually stays for more than a day. I took a blast to the back of our property the other day, and was surprised at how fast it was when it got on the pipe, and hit the power band, but was leaving dirt behind me so I parked it after one lap.

I'm 172 miles south of Mr. Jones (three hour drive) and I am ten degrees warmer because of it. 42 last night 64 projected high for today.

Gets any colder and I have to drag in all of my tropical plants in pots; since Tampa is located in a semi-tropical zone. We get to enjoy rare exotics ten months out of the year. For the remaining two months total, or about six or seven trips in and out of the garage with a three to four nights at a time, it is too cold for them. Hard on the back and allows a lot of bugs to get into the house by way of the garage invite.

You can not quiet ride our cockroaches but they are big. The only thing bigger are the Wolf spiders that chase them down and leave their dried out shells lying all over the house. They are as fast as geased lightning and about four to six inches across. The other exterminator service is Cuban tree frogs that are noisy and leave trails of bug remains in a white to black grease stains or streaks on every surface.

Interesting Dave about your roaches, and frogs. One of the fun facts about this place (North Idaho) is we have no poisonous snakes of any kind. Apparently there is a type of plant here that grows naturally, that the small animals eat, and the snakes hate it. So they will not eat said animals, and thus all the bad snakes live much further south where the tasty small animals live. I haven't seen a roach since we moved in, even after the house sat empty for almost a year, but there are a lot of small spiders. However we have 2 house cats and we never, and I mean never see spiders because the cats live for the sport of killing and eating them (who knew) This place also is absent of earth quakes, tornados, giant hail, and a host of other bad things that happen. However we have spectacular thunder, and lightning, and that some times causes wild fires. And by the way you suck, Mr. air cond. in December!!!!! Just kidding Embarassed

I have no idea what PROLO is either, but then again I am often confused by af2's responses at times.

Come on af2 spill it. What is PROLO? That was a good guess Paul, but I googled it, and his post now makes sense. What body part is the therapy for? I hope it works, and surgery can be avoided.

I figured PROLO was a military acronym (like FUBAR and KISS) but as a pilot in the Navy I never came across that one (though it might have had more meaning below decks with the ratings or leather necks, that I was not privy to).

Guess that makes it hard to grab a gear or steer depending on the arm.
