the old plastic knobs have been broken for a while. i tried finding some replacement ones but all thats available is either junk reproduction or over priced NOS pieces. i just made my own. the hardest part was the hole in the center. its an odd size. my drills were either .010 too big or .010 too small. i modified a bit and it worked well on the first two. the last one was a bit loose so i added some loctite.

i asked the wife to help polish my knob. she simply suggested an alternate location for installation....... Shocked Embarassed
