| Ok, i swear I posted this a couple days ago, but can't find it anywhere. Also, I had a similar post to this a while back, but now I have new info. So I ended up buying an 89 Camaro with 305 I'm gonna dump my 68' 327 with Vortec heads into. Can I swap over the serpentine belt and accessory brackets over? Then what kind alternator do I need? Single wire? When I go to the parts store, what do I buy the alternator for (what vehicle?) I'm not running A/C so how do I figure out what size belt I need? Will power steering and everything else swap over? Thanks... |

Yes it will bolt on. I had one on my 79 Camaro. I don't recall the part number for the altenator but it was a one wire. I left the A/C in place but never connected it up. Otherwise you will need an A/C delete idler pulley.
Don't forget you'll need a reverse rotation water pump. _________________
