Great tip on not trimming the ends. Didn't think about it but makes perfect sense. Headers are looking good. Clay

You can't make a merge collector without first analyzing the cross sectional area of the intake ports, exhaust ports. having every primary tube exactly the same length calculated by pipemax and doing individual cylinder pressure testing on a dyno to determine the dimensions required of the merge junction. Any attempt without thousands of dollars of dyno time and a dozen camshafts is fruitless and wasted. Oh wait, I've been reading too much on Speedtalk - sorry. It's always so good to get back to the real world here. They look great! Keep the pics coming. Clay

Speedtalk, the only forum i know that could turn "whats the firing order of a Chevy 350 ?" into a fifteen page quantum physics discussion.

Looks good Keith! I'm going to do something similar maybe not as long as that merge cone but hey it will perform better than just cut off tubes and a collector. It has to!

Not to drift off topic. I guess nobody has looked at the saw and die grinder handy work on my intake in my New 408 post.... Rolling Eyes

I guess you are right but I thought that since it was still part of this way over due build I'd keep it there. Laughing
