4-bolt block
Speed pro domed pistons
Scat stroker crank
H-beams rods
single plane intake
750 carb
Mallory ignition
Long tube headers
Professional Products aluminum heads 1.60/2.02 64 cc chambers
1.6 roller rockers
Elgin 518/540 cam

TH350 trans
2800 stall
stage 2 shift kit
4.10 rear gear full posi
Bolt in 9"
3400 lb G-body cutlass

Thats a rough outline. More details to come. I also do have some of these parts..with more in the works. But this is the plan!

use flat top pistons for 500 horse pump gas motor

I think the flow 220.

Can i ask...why flat tops? Wouldnt domed one get more compression?

cheaper swill

500 horse can be achieved by pump gas ,and you can have a few beers with the money you save Laughing

Nice...i like beer. So its just cheaper for flat tops than it is dome? I looked up prices for dome pistons and they arent too bad.

Yes VP C-12 is $10.50 a gallon right now and my motor will be consuming that regularly.

Well...its only a weekend toy. Its my long term project. Probably gonna take 2 or 3 years to complete unless i win the lottery!

You are probably going to have to do a little work on the heads. And I really think that the cam should be comp's 12-515-5 (I think that the part number). You will really like this cam. Set it up on about 101 intake centerline.
