It was .030 over previously and .005" was all that was needed to clean it up. Yes it was just honed to size at the shop.

Nice Paul!!! The valve reliefs alone are worth the Xtra$$.

Joe the pin boss steel reinforcement is heavy and sits so far out the end that you need the thick pins.

That makes sence, I had to by speed pro plasma Molly file fit rings 124.00$$ back in 2000 that was all I could find . What are your thoughts on ring gap? I was thinking .024 top& .028 bottm I've been reading about gas buildup between the rings not letting them seal propperly.

Yeah piston to valve was fine those are some deep pockets!
