Raced at the ORTC race this weekend and had a blast went a few rounds on Sunday and lost first round on Saturday. But considering I had a pile of parts on tuesday just getting to the track was a thrash. I built the engine Wed and Thursday and my buddy Will, Joe and Steve installed for me Thursday evening while I was at work. Then we finished it up Friday ran her in for awhile and retorqued the heads and changed the oil. Got to the track ready to rock Sat morning. I was running open comp so I had to lift on almost all my passes. But here is the run down I shifted 6800 and launched 4000 off the brake all weekend. Here is my to passes were I achieved new bests.

.003 R/T
1.295 60ft new best
3.822 330ft
5.960 1/8
113.38 mph
Lifting to keep some in the bag

-.011 R/T
1.304 60ft
3.807 330ft
5.910 1/8 new best
116.33 mph new best

I red lit on the last pass so I ran all out and went home with a good time slip atleast LOL. Here are some links.

We ran a 6.0 race the begining of November and ran great allday. First pass turned the launch up to 4600 and proceeded to carry the wheels pretty far almost ended up on top of the guard rail, lifted and came crashing down got back in it before I was all the way down but still dented the headers alittle when it came down ran 6.03@116 with a 1.30 60ft pretty sure on the back tires. 2nd pass turned the leave down to 4000 carried the wheels a good way out and ran my new best of 5.83@118 with 1.29. Wen't into eliminations had to pedal all the way down the track once I got the lead 6.10@109 new best 1.27 60ft. My last pass was late and I had a oil down in front of me some dew on the track and I wish they would have called it but hey they didn't left the line with 1.28 60ft and about ate the wall at 300ft or so had to lift when the car made a hard move. Still placed second and got my gas money and entry fee back. All in all it was a good day and quite eventful to say the least had a pucker factor twice today keeps me on my toes LOL. We also went to the track this weekend and I got all my license passes done and ran a new best in the 1/4 9.24@142 with a 1.30 60ft we went 5.87 to the 1/8. Earlier on my half pass I went 5.83 @ 118 with a 1.27 60 ft. The strating line went away towards the end of the night and my MPH in the 1/4 was off since I was on the rev limiter at 7700 going out the back man I need less gear for the 1/4.

Looks like a handful at times. I hate those evenings when the dew starts to fall - dangerous. I like it when they move to the afternoons instead of nights in the fall. It is flat moving though - especially that 60' I'm not worthy . Clay
