Two years is a long time to be away but after a pass or two it'll be like you've never been away. Good luck. How's the job situation? |

I hope the first pass will be decent. I might get a couple if it stays together.
JOB? Still contracting and holding my head above water.
Even after the big blow in San Bruno, haven't received a call!
Thanks for the thought Gene!

Me too it has been two years for me Oct18th of 2008 was my last time to the track with my car.
Smoke and Jeep I am heading to NED on Saturday to give it a go.
Strange coincidence we are both down for the same amount of time and back at it.

That is funny!
Good luck Paul and make sure Jeep knows I am rooting for a 10 sec pass. You too to better the 10.98.
Don't have a clue what Smoke is running but it should do good. |

damn, two years . i might end up taking two years myself. either i dont have the money, time or both. we still dont have a trans in the Camaro either . i may end up driving a friends car this weekend though. not really looking forward to it because hes one of those guys that puts his cars together with a tape measure. thats it, no levels, plumb bobs or angle finders, just a tape measure. man i hope i dont bounce that thing off the wall _________________

well, heres the thing, the only reason i have to drive it is because hes hopelessly lost with this car. he needs someone to tell him what is phucked up. i dont plan to go "all out" on the first pass. my intent is just to try to launch it and shut it down after the first couple hundred feet or so. i know all the welds are good, i just dont think anything is actually straight. _________________
