Check out chevyhiperformance.com. They did a pretty comprehensive test on a lot of small block heads a year or so ago. I looked and the cylinder head flow data base is still there listed under tech articles. Clay

Yeah, but what were the differences in the short times?

I'm getting pretty good on the short times, but I do get in the reaction time fog every once in a while and pull a 0.9 or so. Clay

Those are impressive numbers.
I have a 99 GMC truck. Will these heads fit on a standard 350?

The 96-98 Vortec truck motors(still inuse in vans) are completely different from the 99+ LS1 based motors, only thing in common is bore spacing.
The Vortec released in 96 was just so well liked that GM kept using the name when the completely redid the engines.

kamstra ... Doesn't your 99 truck have an LS1 type engine? If it does the flow numbers on the LS1's are better than the Vortec's.

A 99 will have the LS1 based motor, like I said though those parts are useless for older smallblocks.
