I'd like to head up to the track in the near future to get a new season baseline before I make changes to the 02 Z28 (headers & Y-pipe). I also want to test out a new 3 axis accelerometer I integrated into the HPTuners datalogger. This should provide me with the ability to calculate HP and Torque in car.

Anybody plan on heading up in the near future, Jeep, Paul P, 86GN?

Nostalgia day on the 30th but that will exclude your Camaro....

I have some medical issues that prevent me from participating at this time. I plan to have the Nova ready for the May 30th Nostalgia races even if I can't drive it.
Smoke, let me know when you're going. Hopefully I'll be able to go to root you on.

SMOKE,
I know finding the time to go racing is tough for you but if you could fit in a Wednesday afternoon. I've found that the best time for test & tune. It costs 105 dollars but they only allow 30 cars for the day. It's from 1 - 5pm. They only run one lane at a time. You can get a ton of runs in. You know what a race whore I am, I got 22 runs in one afternoon and that was letting it sit for 40 minutes or so to let the tranny cool down Shocked

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well.

Track rental sounds like a good idea. How's the track prep? Wednesday & Friday nights the prep is questionable sometimes.

That's another plus for Wednesday afternoons. They prep the track.

I have May 15th marked for my debut (almost 1 1/2 year hiatus).

Been 11.82 with old combo...changes

4200 9.5" from a 10" 3000
4.10's from 3.73's (also now a 12 bolt and spool)
drag shocks front and rear from store brand gas shocks
lots more (4"+?) front suspension travel from almost nothing(-4"?)

and a little giggle gas (100 shot) for the last run before I leave (kicked out for too fast Smile)

What you think it'll run now N/A and assisted ?

Couple last brutal weeks til I am exactly halfway to signing RN after my name- Then going to be at the track with my buddies 88 stang helping him work out the bugs in it...

Car supposedly went 12.70s on the engine in drive- we shall see...

I am more excited for the day we swap it to a 5 speed though. Its no argument of which is better- just which I find more fun to drive in a car like his...

New state new division old car. I plan on going to the track late in may. The only thing that will be different is driving through 40mph wind gusts Confused .
