there is a lot of thought toward politics these days

isnt much thought to rescent POLICIES any more within politicians

For what its worth- An acquaintance of mine works for Superchips in Longwood, FL, and has told me before all the old chip stuff is still available more or less. They make the $$$ off the tune files more than the hardware and the hardware is still cheap to have made.

That being said, find a Superchips dealer who is worth a #$@^! and you should be fine.

The cats pajamas for the late model stuff to be able to disable all that stuff seems to be HP Tuners- so the LS guys tell me. I dont have direct experience but they are pretty knowledgeable guys so I would at least add that to the list to look into if you go with the late model swap. I know they can disable the security stuff with a reflash and many other changes can be made too...

thanks guy.... the more i think about it the less i am thinking about the engine swap and maybe another way to get more hp. maybe the head/intake swap, headers, dual exhaust, a throttle body spacer, etc

It sure sounds a lot easier to get the same end result with building what ya got... And for less $$$... Just my 2 cents I think there were a lot of bang-for-the-buck suggestions earlier in the thread from guys who make some Bowties scream...
