and the planets have all aligned. I'm driving a Ford. Laughing

I quess stranger things have happened but not to me.
The car is a 90 Mustang LX hatchback with a fresh 302 bored .03 over. ( 306 cu in ?? ) Speed Pro pistons ( flat tops). Clearanced, balanced and blueprinted. Melling High Volume oil pump. Comp Cam( roller) 218/224 dur and 512/512 lift. Crane Energizer roller rocker arms.
Comp Cam double roller timing chain.
GT-40 heads, with some impressive port work w/double valve springs and poly locks.
Edelbrock RPM intake w/650 Holley carb.Speed Pro pistons (flat tops)
MSD Blaster 2 coil
WC T5 trans and 3:55 rear gears
Ram Clutch with BBK cable and quadrant
Eibach drag launch springs (rear) and 90/10 uplock struts (front)
and ,of course, Holley Blue elec fuel pump.

This will be my daily driver for a while and is a quick little car for a ford Laughing

So, being a Chevy man my whole life (almost) I don't know squat about Fords and I'll have a lot of questions.

Anyone have Desk Top Dyno ? I'm really wondering what kind of HP this engine is making. I have always liked the look of the Fox body Mustangs .
Thanks for any help.

Makes perfect sense but I can't get the car to hook up and I'm not going to buy new slicks to use one time. I usually get good info here but i guess there are not a lot of Ford guys on the forum.

I have looked on some of the mustang forums and it's mostly a bunch of kids who just don't know much yet. They will gain knowledge with age like we all did but I don't have that long. Laughing

Dont worry about hooking up. Mark off a 1/4 mile and do the math off your speed. E.T. doesnt mean anything when calculating power, it is based off speed.

Heck no. You didn't even know how to type FORD Wink

I had already thought of the speed thing but the car spins thru 1st and second gear. I knew i should have stayed with Chevy. Laughing Laughing

The speedo in the car shows I'm going slower than the reading also. It was an LX 4 cyl before the v-8 and the tach is way fast. I have a Sun Tach that I plan to install today.
