You all are special in my book. Thanks for all the help on this car.
Now I need to learn how to tune a carb to the motor. back in the 70s I could but now forgot a lot of this stuff. Sometimes I think some shops just out to get you. I had carb work on 3 times and still do the some thing. From 4000 rpm back to idle it kinda hangs there and go's back down slow to idle or slow idle return. But the motor do run find the car with just about 12 slicks sticking out from the fender walls best run in the 1/4 11:20s.

"O" at the track they are telling me now I need to install roll bar tie
down the motor and change my driver's seat. I run the car before a few times before never had them say anything like this.
I need catch can to...

Man a friend of minds had his car dyno 67 chevelle 383 motor all new from the crank all the way to intake and carb. Motor ran find out on the street had about 4000 miles on it.

They did 3 dyno's the 4th one blow the motor heads crack block crack carb hit the hood, and manifold crack. I dent in the front hood scoop push out. Tony my buddy if trying to get the dyno to pay for his car. They made adjustment to the his carb witch was working find before they played with it. He do have a video of the motor blowing apart I told him he should put it on youtube so people can what can happen going to some so call dyno shops. He told the buy to not to make any tuning on the motor to and got the guy on video playing with the carb.
