Good choice! Did it come with pills? Now all you need is an 8956 window switch. And don't forget the pills for that also.

| now i didnt come with pills or vibration mounts so i have to pick up those, is there anyway to test this box off the vehicle? Also should i look on ebay for a window switch? I generelly dont like buying used electronics cause you never know but i dont want to spend the coin on the new stuff if this stuff should work just fine. |

There is really no way to test it without actually hooking it up to the car and trying it. You could send it to MSD and have them do it, but they get about $75.00 to do it.
It's too bad you weren't looking for a window switch a few months ago, I just unloaded three of them. You shouldn't have any problem finding a good one on Ebay though. |

| ok maybe this is a stupid question, but with the fuel pressure safety switch, the retard box, and window switch. How much should i or could i spray reliably with the nodular iron crank and keith black hypers? I know theres 100 different answers but what would you guys reccommend, i will probably throw 150 at it, but if i needed could i throw more reliably. I know the kbs are strong pistosn but as soon as you get detonation there like glass, which is why im buying all this good stuff. |

the answer i always got to that question was "you can get away with more if you keep it out of detonation". basically, use common sense and dont try anything stupid that you know the crank wont hold.
BTW, i have a wiring diagram for the window switch, retard module, and other nitrous components here somewhere in the nitrous section that may help. _________________

ya that would be awesome i really need to get my wiring in gear, i dont have a single relay in any of my wiring i have done, and im seriously considering it. So i really have no idea what a ohio crank nodular iron crank can hold, as ive heard so many different answers. Would i be stupid to awesome a 200 shot is in my reach?
Also would it be possible or worth anything to use my 1 inch 4 hole carb space with the nitrous plate? I was thinking of putting the space on top of the plate so it doesnt interfere with the spray pattern of the nitrous plate. |

dont know about the crank.
i use a 4-hole spacer exactly like youre describing and it seems to work well. however, i havent had the oppourtunity to put the car on a dyno and see how much it helps or hurts.
heres the thread with my wiring diagram. read all of it because i made a footnote later down the page. http://www.smokemup.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=4260 _________________

Another determining factor on the pistons is ring gap. From what I understand the hyper's have the ring a little higher on the piston so the top ring see's more heat. Under nitrous use, this is a bad thing. The ring ends will but sooner than with a forged piston with the ring groove set lower on the piston. This may be complete B.S. this is just something I have read about in more than one place. Clay _________________ I have done so much with so little for so long, I can now do anything with nothing. |

| you are correct, and i did have the rings gapped for the nitrous, dont remeber how much though. |

| just a quick question im in the middle of bending the nitrous and fuel lines that go from the solonoid to the jet, and im wondering if it would be ok to put a 90 degree fitting right out of the fuel solonoid. I now your not suppose to run many 90's in a fuel system but would it be ok here, it would make routing those lines so much easier. |
