You ought to see the pushrods too - especially with a hydraulic roller setup. Basing what I have seen with dyno tests and buildups in magazines, I think you should be pretty close. One question - why so much extra duration on the exhaust side over the intake - some un-natural aspiration in the future? Clay

Exhaust side on this head isn't very good and possibly a blower or nitrous in the future nothing major just alittle extra if he decides he want's to go faster. Also the 94,95 computers are a bitch when it comes to getting it to run and idle good the cam guy said this cam wouldn't cause any issues with the EFI and tunning. I went 10.60's with this same short block in my 95 but with dish pistons and 150hp shot and AFR185 heads and a victor Jr intake and Demon carb and smaller cam. I had sold it to someone else and they ended up not building it so when this guy came wanting a new motor, I hooked him up and got it back for $1800 ready to assemble short block and heads. So he made out on that deal.

Hmm who is he going to have tune it?
Ultimately that seems to determine a LOT more of how much issue it may have...
the 114 separation is said to help with those ECUs too
I wont have that issue until I get a bit more cam- 216/224 @ .050 and under .500 lift, 112 separation is what I am running now

Well the Dyno numbers are finally in on this motor. It was Dyno'd on a dynojet with full exhaust, all the engine excessories (P.S, ALT, WP, AC) 32degrees total timing and the temp was 91 degrees. We wanted 350rwhp but fell a little short 326hp/349tq the right weather and take the exhaust off and we would be right at the goal. I will post the graph later

Did a great job on this! I am sure he will be happy and if not start bottle feeding it with a warning about these blocks going their separate ways if fed too much juice. That way he can't come back later.

Unfortunately I have witnessed this one. It looked like being bolted to the transmission is all that kept the block from being in two complete pieces - the rear bulkhead is all that wasn't completely split. Good numbers - stroker SBF's make a pretty impressive package - good power - very compact and lightweight. Clay

What size exhaust is on it?
Flowmaster makes a mandrel bent 3" kit for the fox platform, should be easy to fit to a 94-95 car...
Just a thought.
Also, hector @ exhaust depot could make any mandrel bent exhaust you want- he is in orlando though, a bit of a hike for you guys...
