OK i got my new clear cap rotor and coil installed only to find that the coil was no good. Rolling Eyes So I called Summit and the guy was more than friendly about it within 2 days of me calling my replacement coil is already here!!! Shocked And all i had to do was hand the UPS guy the box with the old coil in it!!! This was the first time I have ever ordered parts from summit but it wont be the last!!

Summit had sold me a 250 dollar piggyback tuner made by JET for my nissan forever ago. Long story short, 5 different people @ JET couldnt explain why it wouldnt work.

JET was ignorant to deal with, but Summit took it back with no issue. They only wanted to see that I had tried troubleshooting it.

Jeg's left me hanging on eternal backorder on a windage tray once and that was the end of using them for me.

Note that with most manufacturer part #s you can search on Summit's website. Their system of creating part #s using a 3 letter prefix and the manufacturer # saves a lot of BS...

My vote is for Summit as well. Great company to deal with.

I used Jegs all the time, until they would not sell me parts on a card I had been using for about three years.Asked for the name on the card was my brothers card. Now they said it was no good and would not send me the parts.I called Summit a minute after hanging up with Jegs using same card,no problem with them. A week later I got a letter saying if I join their Pro-Shop I could get bigger discounts, all I had to do was send a picture of my car at the track carry their sticker and I can get as much as ten percent of catalog price.I will never call Jegs for anything again nor will I open a catalog, tell a friend to call them.

A month or so ago I ordered the convesion kit for my roll bar from Jegs, well it showed up and it looked like someone had drug the halo portion behind the fedex truck all the way from Nevada. Called Jegs And the lady I talked to told me I didnt order that part so consiter myself lucky. I talked to the manager and showed them I was right, it was on the 3rd page of the bill. They ended up overnighting it to me for free and I kept the old one for parts. Also had my harwood hook arive with all the g force sensors triped, Jegs sent me $150 to fix the damage. So I guess im saying I ve had good luck with Jegs.

Over the last 25 years of dealing with both I'd say I have been back and forth Jeg's or Summit on my opinion at least a half dozen times. It all depends who you get on the phone really.

Paul pretty much has it right. I had a horrible experience with Jegs a few years ago where they gave information on my spending habits to my soon to be ex-wifes boyfriend. I shop there because it's 2 miles from my house, and when you're in there every week you get greeted when you come through the door and called by name.
