there is a hair under 180 on the seat right now

175-177lbsmeasured with the on-head tool
o dont know open pressure its mid 400's if i remember right

Jon, have you actually measured the #'s with a Rimac?
The reason I ask is because Comp has a messed up deal saying their springs are within 10% of advertised.
10% of 450 is 400 and so on. I will not use their springs as of the last 5 years because they changed vendors and do NOT hold the +/- 5 lbs they used to.


On a roller I would use no less than 200#'s seat and 500# over at 6500+.

I run way more seat( way over 260) and way more nose(way over 650) to keep the valve train in check. I realize the rpm I run is more but you still have the dreaded float point you have to consider.

next door to the dyno room there is a machine shop and we borrowed one from him
(the on head type tool)
