It must be great to live 5 miles from a track. I only have to drive 40 miles to get to my local track, but to be 5 miles away. . . wow!!

Watching the smoke fests at Midland and Route 66 drag strips is my guess.

I'll definatly be going. Not sure if the car is going to make it or not yet. But I'll keep my eyes open for your cars.

What kind of cars do you have?

And just to clairify for those who do not know, the Car Craft Summer Nationals in St. Paul is only a car show, not a drag racing event. Although they do have a burnout contest, chassis dyno and a bikini contest. Its definatly a good car show to attend, usually 3000+ cars!

Next weekend June 23,24 is the Back to the 50's car show, all cars 1964 and earlier. This usually has 10,000+ cars. I am attending this year (first time) I'm really excited to go!

Wow, is it really up to over 4000 cars. Man that car show keeps getting bigger and bigger every year. I think the first year I went (like 3-4 years ago) they were supprised when they had like 3200 cars registered. Its definatly good to know that the car hobby isn't going anywhere.
