I have a chevy 350 with about 350 hp. Took off the balancer and see it is broken on the snout. It is a 6&3/4 balancer. What would be the best route for me to go in getting a replacement?

The best price I can find is through CNC motorsports. I have bought a lot of things from them. They are good people. http://www.cnc-motorsports.com/product.asp?ProdID=8035

When mine came apart a while back I used one by ProStreet Performance Products. It was a pretty good looking part and they have a street one for $65 and a SFI approved one for $190 from Doug Herbert. However the one af2 pointed out looks like a good piece too - just pointing out another option. Clay

What ever you buy be sure it is SFI rated. If you're on this board you are interested in something other than stock (that and the fact you broke a stock one.)

I personally like TCI's Rattler, after having tried Fluid Dampers viscous dampers as well.

I may not have all the required safety equipment mandated by NHRA but I have SFI listed dampers, flex plates, and torque converters (and all my toes).

Then again, if you can live with a stock-type damper, see these guys......http://www.damperdoctor.com
