Shocked Damn Smoke doesn't screw around!!!!! I barely mentioned he should have a top 10 instead of a top 5 and look what he did!!!!!!! I knew there were some fast cars that were on this board. Hats off to Smoke. Adam

Corrected ETs either from 1/8 or altitude is a tough call. Since some only have access to 1/8 tracks, I'd buy just 1/8 and/or 1/4, but not converted from 1/8 to 1/4. I've seen some turbo and nitrous cars that explode with second 1/2 track acceleration throwing the 1/8 to 1/4 conversion out the window. Similarly, an 11.5 second 1/4 at 5800 altitude isn't really a 10.66 at sea level. It means your car has the potential, providing the rest of the car, suspension, tires, safety equipment, etc. are up to snuff, but bottom line is you didn't turn a 10 second 1/4. It would level the playing field, but if a figure is corrected I’d suggest the original time, track altitude, and correction be posted. Sounds like a PITA! If the "gold standard" of a timeslip only 1/4 mile board is what Smoke wants to provide, that’s cool with me. I know coulda’ woulda’ shoulda’ won’t cut it for my ego. If I want to be in the top ten, it just means I have to work harder. There's still the 1/4 mile table for everyone to post their times. The top ten is just a temorary place of honor.

That is great Smoke went with 10 on the quarter!! 1/8th probably would be a total hassle (even though a lot of people run them) to set up a side for it. As far as converting I totally agree with 280Z. Run the number then post it. Corrected is the most stupid thing since Hot Rod started doing that. Every Record that has been set was actual times and not minute by minute corrected B.S. Adam
P.S.
I know at least 15 people that would set the standard at 9.10 at the high and I won't tell them about this site because #1 most don't know shit about fixing problems. They rely on $s to make it happen.

Last time I went, it went 6.665 at almost 104 mph with a 1.51 60'. Around 3700 lbs. with driver and pump gas. I agree with the corrected times, it runs what it runs where it runs, bottom line. Everybody you will be racing that night has the same conditions as you to race in. However it does get difficult in an environment like this one where you might have a 5000' difference between two people trying to compare setup. I'm lucky in that we race close to sea level here, but heat and humidity are killers in the summer. Clay

Holy cow Clay, That car hauls a$$. Please run it on a quarter and you will be in the top 4. I see a 10.20 pass with that or quicker. Adam

Unless the panhard bar I added makes it drive better, it'll never see a 1/4 mile pass - the 1/8th is scary enough. Clay
