Hey guys,

What if any is the horse power and torque difference between throttle body fuel injection and multiport fuel injection. I am stuck between the two. I have a 1966 Chevy truck with a 350 cid with fastburn heads,350 hotcam, turbo 400 trans, 3:73 rear. I would like to have a more economical fuel deleivery system for a street/strip daily driver than a carb. Also what would be the best systems for the money to go with Holley, Edelbrock, Accel, junk yard parts, etc.?

thanks

Multiport is the way to go but everything is a compromise based on how much money you want to spend. What's your budget?

What Smoke said! I've been lusting after the Holley Stealth Ram mpfi. Unported has 500hp capability, ported 600+ I have contact with another 383 Z guy running the SR. LT1 throttle body, 36 lb injectors,Megasquirt. Soon to be in the 10s, truly a daily driver with good manners and great mpgs.

Too bad you are so far in already a LT1 or Vortec(the 96 type) would have been GREAT for you as would the 4L60E behind them and you would have spent less than what you will on aftermarket injection.

Try looking up a company called Speartech and ask if they finished their HEI/Optispark hybrid, it would let you run LT1 MPFI on your motor, this system is CHEAP and easy to reprogram and since the LS1s introduction often overlooked and undervalued.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the reply, Budget? what is that? I don't mind spending some money just as long as it is worth it. Which MPFI system is the best in your opinion on the market?
I don't need all the bells and whistles or alot of chrome, just clean and reliable system that will let me have my cake and eat it too.

Thanks

Dan

If money is no object I recommend the F.A.S.T. system.
