If I were going to push a motor then yeah forged would be the way to go, but for most of us hyper works. If "have the have the best" is applied to everything then jump right to a Bowtie or Dart block and some SB2.2 heads, silly right?

Yes hyper are cast and yes they will crack if detonated under spray, but treat them well and they will return the favor.

I was thinking the Motown block and Dart Little M heads. Those heads flow 425 out of the box witch is better than most big block heads made.
All kidding aside For $150.00 I would wait another paycheck to make sure I had the best part in my motor that I am running. I have gone the lesser route and wished it never happened. Now I am trying to be patient on waiting for my pistons that have been paid for for months. Forged is the way to go. I am having thermal coating to lower the heat the aluminum sees and I just hope for the best. Adam

this motor is only temp anyways therefore im not too worried about its long term strength, the car will be tuned on and off the nitrous with a wideband 02 sensor on the dyno and will latter see a big cube stroker build out of the spare 97 vortec i have
