Decent times for an 87 blue coupe. Is it light or dark blue?

Seriously, what kind of car do you have?

Describe it to us.

What's it weigh with you in it?

Obviously your hooking up fairly well.

It would be a mid 12 second pass in the 1/4.

Welcome to the site.

What does it now have for a powerplant?

Is it a stick?

What gear do you run?

Do you use drag radials or street tires?

It's always nice to have a car that runs quicker than others with about the same set-up. I'd make a copy of the time slip to show non-believers and if they still don't believe, invite them along the next time you run at the track.

I looked through some time slips that I ran with my Nova last year. The closest 1/8 mile time I could find was 7.941 @ 87.70MPH. Mine worked out to 12.413 @ 110.24MPH in the 1/4.

I wish my car was as light as yours. Mine weighs 3620 with me in it. I'm adding a roll bar so the weight will be going up more.

That's one of the great things about a Mustang, they are really light. Good luck next year.

People don't understand what a little research can accomplish rather than blindly buying parts. As far as power mods a cam is pretty much it for me other than boltons. have gone 8.395 at 81.92 which was 13.2 at 101 . The cam is small at 208/221 and raceweight is 4300lbs. even before it was this quick I had people ask who were convinced it was sprayed.

You seem to have done things just right.
