Looking for big single plane = Eddy Super Vic, World, Dart, Holley: Keith Dorton, and maybe the Brodix HV1000. Must have 4150 carb flange. Not really interested in Professional Products Hurricane.
Thanks |

Hey Smokin!
I know its a dual plane, but I used the Dart Kool Kan intake last year and loved it. It replaced the Super Vic that was horrible on the street. I shifted at 7200rpm with both and there really wasnt a any difference between the two in the upper rpms, but down low things were much better with the Dart. It has a "stepped" divider like a Performer rpm but its taller overall. This motor is pretty much a "all upper rpm" deal (big heads, high rpm).
Just another one to consider! _________________ 11 seconds, full street trim, real street strip car.

Yeah, the big single planes like the Super Vic are pretty bad at atomization in the low RPM's. Thats why I chose the 1" taller Vic Jr, but hell, now you got me thinking. I have 2 Holley big runner dual plane intakes. I'd really like to do a comparison between the single plane and Holley dual plane. Hmm, it couldn't hurt to try. |

Smokin71RSSS,
It might not be in time but I do have a Weiand 7532 with a Brodix turtle insert available. Maybe I should just list it in parts for sale.... |

If I didn't already have bought a Dart intake I'd be all over that. I'm a big Weiand fan but just that insert alone would have prompted me to buy it. Thanks for the offer. Best of luck to you selling it. |
