i might still keep it but i would love to play with somthing new,i know the first gen works,for cheap and easy and can run real quick for little cash but id like to try a nitrous fed 355 in a second gen just for shits and giggles

The only difference between EFI and a carburetored engine is the EFI will have better emissions, and a better throttle response across a wider RPM band. It offers better mileage overall (see better emissions); because it is constantly monitoring and adjusting the fuel/air mix to compensate for a wider range of factors that the carb doesn't even see (such as coolant temp, outside air temp, ignition timing, knocking, etc.). At WOT the carb will generally beat an EFI in peak horse power, because it is doing the one thing that 120 years of engineering has designed into it.

Good point. Just sux that to convert to an MPFI costs over $1000. Especially if youre feeding high HP motors.
