Shot this vid last Friday.

This was done on my "pump gas" street tune (~23psi boost), although I did have some trick 101 in the tank because the boost controller was having spiking issues.

1.804 spinning through 1st

The next pass I got a 1.76 60' still spinning through 1st, but hit the rev limiter before the 1-2 shift and ran a 12.0

Thanks!, I'm running my own mix. I do have the Mopar Stage 1 ECU, which is more "mod friendly" than the stock ECU.

The big thing is an AGP Turbo upgrade from the dinky stock turbo to a GT3076R, plus all of the supporting "bolt-ons" to go with it.

Thanks. Very Happy

Yea, it's nice to run an 11 on pump gas and the same boost level (23~24psi) I run on the street. In July about 2 weeks after getting the turbo upgrade installed it ran 11.7's on 29psi and race gas in 103 degree air.

This last weekend, I took it out and ran pump gas Friday Night and Race Gas Saturday night. Friday night's best time was 11.70@120 w/ a 1.77 60' (beating the best race gas time, 11.71, from the summer), still running 24psi. It took a bit to get the launch right, but once I did the car ran solid 11.7's all night.

Saturday Night's best time was 11.53@124.9 w/ a 1.86 60' on race gas @26psi. Most of the runs on Saturday were in the 11.5's the rest of the runs I was messing with the launch trying to get the 60' back down in the 11.7's. Slowest slip of the night was an 11.83.

I turned up the boost on the last run of the night, but the track had cooled off too much and I spun through 1st and into 2nd, resulting in a 2.1 60', but still ran an 11.7@126.6 picking up almost a tenth from the 330' on (but losing ~3.5 tenths between the launch & the 330' mark).

Either way, it's time for a bar Very Happy, as there's still a bit more turbo left, and I'm sure on a normal race day (sun on the track + better prep) I'll be able to get it to hook up better. If I could get it to launch like a RWD car, I'd be in the 10's already... Laughing

Good going. Great pump gas times. Amazing you can run that much boost on pump gas. Do you have any data logs on air temp going into the engine? Just trying to get some info to see if I can step up my combo a little. Clay

Nothing recent, but with the water injection air-temps drop dramatically.

I tuned on the hottest day of the year (pretty much on purpose) and at the start of the pull the Air Intake Temp (AIT) was 120 deg. By the time it hit full boost it had dropped to 82 deg... almost a 40 degree reduction in air temp from the water/methanol injection. I'm sure this time of the year the drop isn't as much, but it is pulling pretty strong. Very Happy

I also used an ODB-II scanner to monitor the ignition timing. The SRT-4 ECU will pull timing if it gets too much noise from the knock sensor. Right at 24psi, it started pulling timing. What's nice is the ECU pulls timing before you can even hear any detonation, so it keeps the engine pretty safe.

I have an MSD Programmable so I can pull a little timing before the ECU pulls alot. I set the MSD to pull no timing from vacuum to 20psi, then tapers to pulling 2 degrees at 23psi, then tapering to 4 degrees at 25 psi and finally tapering to 25 degrees at 30psi (in case of a boost spike while running pump gas).

With the timing set like that, the ECU never detects enough noise from the knock sensor to pull any timing. And at 24psi it made right at 420whp and 415ft/lbs.

For my race gas tune, all of the timing is put back in except for tapering to 2 degrees at 30psi from 0 at 28psi.

Went back to the track this weekend. Got a better launch by running ~20psi in 1st, ~28psi in 2nd and then 30psi in 3rd and 4th... still not hooking as well as it could though as it was still spinning through 1st & 2nd...

The 11.59 timeslip is as above except running only ~20psi in 4th to keep from dipping under 11.50 since I don't have a bar.
