Getting one of these systems too. Just have to get the $$ for it. Holley 550-500 Universal system without injectors. Fitting up the manifold with bungs and fitting the rails will be one of the tasks that I am not looking forward to. Keith is this something you could do in your shop?

It is the raised runner Wilson intake for the Dart 17s. Yes it is also port matched. Kind of stuck there.

What else do I need besides injectors and fuel pump (already purchased) if I purchase the Holley 550-500 system? Distributor, crank trigger? Are the fuel rails big enough?

a crank trigger certainly is nice but whatever ignition you currently have should work fine. ill have to get back into my laptop to be sure but i think it will work right out of the MSD.

you don't need anything special on the fuel rails. we use different ones depending on the engine. we often use the stock fuel rail on some of the LS stuff.

as far as manifold goes, i talked to Jeff. that's something we would have Don Hardy do. if you're interested in that, i can send Donald a text tomorrow and see what he says. he can probably tell me what injectors, with the build info.

im not sure exactly what comes in that kit. does it have the throttle body? man, i need to pay more attention to whats in those boxes Confused Embarassed

We'll find out soon. You would not believe the deal I got. Autozone of all places carries the Holley 550-500 Universal system and had a 20% off home orders over $100. I called Summit for a price match and got the system delivered for $1697.36! Sweet deal Very Happy . The kit does have the throttle body. Comes pretty much complete except for fuel pump, injectors and distributor. Bungs and rails are in the kit.

open "help" in the tuning software and go to "wiring diagrams & manuals". in section 8, it illustrates all your options for ignition. i would DEFINITELY set it up with timing control.

I found a local source for the intake. Forgot about this friend of mine with a bridge port that can do it. I'll post some pics when I get going on that.

Just ordered the last batch of parts for this change over. Might be a few things I will buy locally like -10 line and 10 gauge wire since it only has 12 gauge back to the pump from the relay with the current system. I will do some before and after pics maybe during the install.

Pump is plumbed out back except for the line from the tank to the trunk floor. Had to order 3 ft of -10 line which is coming this week. Doing some electrical now running the #10 primary wire with circuit breaker from the battery post up front to the pump in the back. Real pain in the ass removing the original #12 wire and then running the new one. Should be all buttoned up tonight. I did order some VooDoo flexible #10 wire off ebay to do this but it is complete shit. Did not weigh anything did not look to be up to the task of delivering enough current to the pump. Had to just suck it up and buy primary at the parts store. ECU has to be run direct to the battery in the trunk anyway so I needed some for that too. Mounting the ECU in the car and getting power to it is next. After that is the Y splitter for the fuel feed to the rails and the regulator/return. I have an idea of where I want them. After that I have to pull the intake and have it machined and welded for bungholios. I want this bitch running before the snow flies. Should be a huge difference. I did take pictures of that projection with the air filter base on it. There is no way that enough air was flowing into the engine. Too much in the way. The new pod doesn't even have those black aerodynamic covers on them just plugs and a lot of flat space for the air to run into while trying to enter the engine.
