ive been discussing this issue with Clay. the rear power valve is just too high up and is easily uncovered by fuel slosh. Clay has a design that works pretty good. he even incorporated the ability to tune it with jets. i came up with this idea, for mine, the other day. it was pretty simple to make. only took about an hour.

i machined the port, with a 5/8 reamer, down about 1/8 deep

the extension has a slight press fit and i used Permatex Sleeve Retainer when i installed it

No power valve at all? It will pull from idle?
Just wondering.

yes, there is a power valve. it just pulls fuel from the bottom of the bowl instead of the middle.

Keith have you applied for patent protection? Copyright is automatic, first to post owns the copyright, but Holley can have their lawyers in the patent office by now? First to file owns it even though you invented it.

I hold two patents cost me either $75 each or $150 each can't remember any more as I acquired them back in the seventies. I think that idea is worth more than the filing fee.

applying for patents has gotten so tedious and expensive that, unless its something like post-it-notes, that everyone wants, its hardly worth it. besides, its actually an idea i got from Clay. i just tweaked it a bit.

another idea i stole from clay and tweaked. it opens off of a hobbs switch that turns on/off two solenoids that switch vacuum to pressure.
