385 sbc. specs scat steel 9000 crank, PROBE SRS forged dished pistons 10.6 ish with 64cc heads, 6" H-beam rods, comp 305H magnum cam .525/.525 lift 305/305 duration. roller rockers, Engine quest 200cc heads stud girdles, Vic Jr intake, 750 demon carb, Msd distributor.

running in 75 camaro waiting for rotating assy to come from machining. my engine now runs 14.3 1/4 with 2.41 gear stepping to detroit and 3.73 gear moser axles hoping mid to high 12's is that a close guess?

450-475HP should get you there in the 12s no problem.

You need to have around 4000 stall if you are using an automatic to #1 Idle in gear #2 to have a good launch. Otherwise it will be a dog and you will go slower.

i was guessing 400-450. once completed going to dyno 355 and 385 hope to get videos. ill guess how the 355 runs its 350-375 but then again cant say.

Good Point Adam! You will need the rest of the supporting aftermarket parts for it to run right at the track, the torque converter is one of the most important parts for this combination.
