I did get my 37 degree flare tool for the aluminum line from a hydraulic shop. It is one of the simple hammer driven flare tools. Does the trick.... _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

Ya ive been debating running aluminum where i can, i just figured the braided would be a quick and easy install.
Also gonna be ordering a exhaust this week.
Looking at 1 3/4 primary with 3 inch collector hooker super comp longtubes, 3 inch stainless with a "H" pipe, through some flowmaster super 44's dumped at the rear axle.
How does everyone like the sound of the 44's????

The black Kevlar cloth braided A-N line is lighter and easier to work with than the stainless steel braided line is. Most racers have abandoned stainless line where they can (NHRA rules still specify stainless clad for some applications in the rule book but I suspect that will change with time).

Cody, it is up to you but the noise the 44's make is annoying to me.
My son put a set of 80 series on his 73' Blazer and I really like them. they sound more like the old Hemi turbos that we ran in the 70's and 80's when Walker made them.
I got out of many tickets withe them being quiet. |
