FINALLY got around to getting something done on my wife's Mustang project. She wanted it red. Got the jambs and trunk area trimmed out today. I used Summit's line of paint and it works really well. The plan is for me to strip it down and take it to a friends shop and pay him to finish it. I've got too many projects and not enough time (sound familar to any of you ) After that the plan is new seat covers and maybe re-dye the grey interior parts black. Already have new wheels and almost all the parts to build a basic 347 for it. Should be a fun reliable ride. Clay

ya know, those little 4.6 motors respond well to turbocharging _________________

True, but it's one of the Mustang bastard children - a 94. Still has the 302 - just very little is like the previous 302's. This car even has an OBDII plug inside that does nothing but power up a scan tool and the OBDI plug under the hood that you actually have to use. I've thought about the turbo thing and my old Procharger but really it's for her and I should be able to get 375 - 400 reliable horsepower out of the 347 and that'll be plenty to make her happy. | I like the color. Should be a peppy little street car when you get it done. |

Picked the car up from the painter today! It turned out fantastic. Now the challenge is getting it back together because the parts are scattered in my shop and some are at my buddies shop. Next time I'll have the hubcaps on it when I take pics . Clay

How much room under the hood? The Triton V-10 in my motor home pulls well and runs very smoothly for an odd fire engine. As I understand it they are all the same with the factory adding two cylinders at a time to make a V-6, V-8 or V-10 (instead of the more desireable V-12 or V-16 since a Vee engine has to be in multiples of four unless you plan on converting it over to a two stroke like GMC did with their popular 71 cubic inch cylinder engines (4-71, 6-71, 8-71, etc.)
I see a lot of old pick-ups sporting triton decals on the fenders. So I assume the motor is fairly common.
