I have a smallblock 350 with a pro comp thumper series cam and lifters in it with headers a high rise intake and a Edelbrock carb. I'm thinkin about putting roller rockers on it and was wanting some suggestions on what brand or if it would even be worth the money.

You change cams when you convert to a roller tappet. In my opinion; yes they are well worth the price of admission.

I prefer a solid roller if you are going away from a stock cam. I prefer Isky Red Zone lifters (Everybody has a cheaper copy of this lifter now).

I don't really think you really need them but going to a 1.6 ratio might give a few more horses. I have used the Harland Sharp and Comp Cam gold rockers with no problems. I tried the Jegs brand and the needle bearings at the pivot weren't pressed in tight enough and this allowed the roller at the tip to walk all over the place and not stay centered on the valve tip. They did refund my money and then I bought the Comp's. Welcome to Smokemup! Clay
