So I have this New AEM CAI for a Focus on E-Bay for about a month now. Priced to sell at 50 bucks less than anyone else on E-Bay. This guy bids and wins and then I notice he sent a message like 7 hours before the end of the auction. Here is his message to me in quotes.
"Hello, I was just wondering if I win the bid, can you not ship it and just cancel the order. My brother got on my computer and didn't realize it was all under my name. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused."
WTF? I sent an invoice over before I even saw this. Now what? _________________ 2001 Focus 2.0 Zetec

he should protect his account better. he is still responsile for all purchases made through his account. he needs to have brother pony up the cash for the item he agreed to purchase. if he was able to send the message 7 hours before the listing ended, then he should have been able to retract the bid. _________________

I haven't done a lot of e-bay buying, but I'm with 10sec.et - he bought it - period. Anything from there on is between him / his brother and e-bay. Guess it doesn't really matter now as it sounds like it worked out for the best. Glad it did. Just FYI,
If a buyer doesn't buy it you can re-list for free using the buyer did not buy it option.
I sound like a e-bay rep!! |
