i ran these without any issues

using crane's factory replacement lifters
to 6100rpm
i woul only run screw in studs
my heads were alum. vortecs

still have em if you wana try em????

The aluminum Vortec's must be different than the factory heads. I changed retainers and locks to increase the installed height mainly for retainter - seal clearance and I'm still almost 0.100" shorter than the springs you listed. Thanks for the try though. Clay
