I ran this car this weekend in the NHRA Summit series southeastern division finals this was the first time I drove this car, I ended making a rookie mistake since the guy I was racing broke about mid track I got out of the gas and dropped 8mph without touching the brake so I got out way early but still broke out should have stepped on the brake LOL.

But the positive side of the weekend was the car went it fastest pass yet despite me weighing 110lbs more than the owner. I left off the brake at 3000 and shifted at 6500 and it responded with the best pass to date despite mph being slower more than likely due to the weight.

1.402 60ft
4.149 330ft
6.495 1/8th
103.83 mph

I feel that we will see some 6.30's out of this when its all said and done and 9.90's in the 1/4 now I just got to get him to turn it loose.

9.98 @ 132
1.41 60ft

He is officially in the 9's with the 4V heads woohoo and still shifting at 6500 all we did was add timing.

The mph seems a little slow I would expect 135 or so he said that he thinks he is blowing through the converter since the shift light is never going out when he shifts into 3rd so that could be costing him mph.

This car ran 6.31@107 with a 1.36 60ft all new bests he made a few adjustments on the suspension and the air was good. Still 6500 rpm shift and 3000 rpm leave on the brake.
