Went to the track and ran in the bracket race on Saturday I slid the throttle back to 3/4's and turned the shiftlight down to 6600rpm since the class limit is 6.0. I ended up running 6.01 on one pass but for the most part ran 6.05 to 6.07 all weekend so the car was running good and consistant. I got the new hood on it also not sure if I like it yet but if its faster I will keep it what do you guys think I needed more hood clearance over the carb so this is what I came up with.

I think the cowl looks better but that one doesn't look bad.
I'm all about function so if that one makes more power then keep in on. _________________ Stop running from your pain and embrace your pain. Your pain is going to be a part of your prize.

Like Squeezer, I think the hood will look fine with a little paint.
Every now and then I think of that gawd awful fire you had.
Glad you're back running again. |

Yeah I look back at the pics and still get sick to my stomach. We are moving forward pretty good though and its was good for all of us to get to the track for the first time since the fire.
