Hello fellow gear heads . I have a 2000 S 10 Extreem with a 2002 LS1 motor and its time to change the fuel pump . But I was told by the guy I bought it from that it does not have a stock 4.3 v6 fuel pump in it . And so far no luck finding out what the pump is I have in the truck know . I have went to different places , including a Chevy dealership and thought for sure they would be able to look at the numbers on it and tell me what it was for , but no luck . So my question to you guys is , how much pressure does a stock 2002 Corvette fuel pump put out????. And of course wondering how much fuel pressure a stock 2000 S 10 fuel pump puts out???..But I am thinking that it might be a fuel pump out of a 2006 Sirrea truck, with a 5.3 v8 in it,,but there again I need to know for sure how much pressure this fuel pump puts out???...Boy I sure could use some HELP/////.......THANKS GUYS.......

Stock fuel pressure for an LS1 is 4bar or 58 psi. Best way to know for sure is to put a gauge on it.

No telling what pump you have. Is it an external or internal pump? Why do you need a new one?

they probably put out about the same psi. both pumps are for EFI. the real question is, how much power are you trying to make ? if its 300 or so then the S10 pump will most likely be fine. if youre over 400 then i would look into a good aftermarket pump. see if you can find what you need here http://walbrofuelpumps.com/
