can someone please tell me a good site to go to to learn how to build a motor. I want to build my first motor but i don't know much so i wanna learn from scratch.

Welcome to Smokemup. Don't know about a website, but I have found that books are better for what you are asking. After you read it you can keep it laying on the workbench while you are doing the assembly as a quick reference - to me much better than a computer. You can go to amazon.com and search books for whatever brand you are interested. Their are plenty of small block chevy books to choose from for less than $20. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask us, but a book is a great tool to get first. Clay

I found that Rick Voegelin's book entitled Engine Blueprinting to be the most informative of that genre of books.

One video I like that I got from Comp Cams is "How to properly build a small block Chevy" narrated by Scooter Brothers. I would think it is still available.
