I have a single plane dart "claimed" tall deck intake. I was unable to find any part numbers on it, and am trying to find a definite way to determine whether its for a regular 9.8" engine or for a tall deck 10.2" engine. Any hints?

If you have a long block drop it on top. If it is a tall deck manifold it will be too wide to go between the heads; it will not sit down on the block. If you have a tall deck block the manifold will be too narrow with a nearly quarter inch gap on each side where it can not reach the heads.
Otherwise it will take some measurements of another manifold to compare the two. Hard to tell from a picture.
