A friend at work has been working on his Maverick over the last few weeks. He has a turbo off of a Mitsubishi and has adapted it to the factory inline 6. Right now he has it on the road and it doing some tuning. Trying to help him figure out an Autolite carburetor under boost. I like the turbo six setup, it's sort of weird and different. Here are some pics.


Best of all, he did all the work himself so that makes it that much better. Clay

Looks like a TD05. He also refers to it being a big 16g. Here is a link to some more information he posted on another forum. Now I've to get him to sign up on here.....

I would've thought the big 16G would be too small for that motor. But I ran it through the turbo calc and it should be good up to 4500 rpms or so. It might be a bit on the small side but should spool pretty good if he doesn't spin the motor too fast. A 20G should be good through 6500 rpms if he decides to step it up down the road.

now that cant be a very efficient engine to turbo
intake and exhaust on same side of the head

would a 4.9 be better ...size wise???
