Please pardon my ignorance but my curiosity has gotten to me-

I was trying to figure out what looked unique about your scoop- all I can come up with is that it was a cowl hood, then a Cobra Jet-style opening was added, but the hump in front of the scoop I do not know- maybe your own design?

I like how it has progressed so far- waiting to see some paint pics! Very Happy Very Happy

Yes I wanted to be different from everyone else so I went with a "Stinger" hood like what was used on the Motion/Baldwin cars.

It is off of a 1967 L-88 Corvette Stinger hood. It was how you distinguished a 427 from a 396 when they were parked.

Definately not a scoop style you see everyday. Looks good and I like it. I know you can't wait. Glad to see progress is being made - I hate to hear about cars being in "paint jail". Clay
