af2,

I leave the "Bedliner" on my Nova. I used to take it off until my car got more attention at a car show when I didn't take it off. Was told it lends character to the car. Rolling Eyes

Course it might get noticed if I had skinny's up front, some wheelie bars and a parachute hanging out back.

I'm not a body man and couldn't paint a single model car as a kid without drips and runs; but I think you're supposed to mask of the shinny parts before you spray on the primer. Wink

Hey Jeep, if I saw your car at a show with rubber slung up the sides, you'd get my vote every time. To me, it proves that the owner uses the car for fun and not just trailering it from show to show. Clay

Dave I agree about the shiney part. The car was painted when I bought it, so I had to live with the painted bumper and tail lights. I do plan on repainting the car this year and racing a limited season.

I just realized what Dave was talking about. The car does look light grey now that I look at it, but it is actually white and shiney. I personally dont care for the "euro" paint everything white look, but it was that way when I got it and I havent had time to change the color.

I just noticed that off to the left my Blue 68 camaro is in view, and if you look close you can see one of the wheels on the wheelie bars. I sold that car a short time later.
