hey all im looking for a stock bore or a .030 small block chevy or a 400 block to start a turbo build. gotta have 4 bolt mains. thanks

I would think using a 2-bolt and adding splayed mains would be stronger since the outer bolts on the splayed mains grab more material of the block. I have one but it is a spare......

I agree, get a 2 bolt block and put in splayed mains.

Agree on a 2 bolt. I installed a girdle instead of the splayed to keep the block as strong as it can be and still tie the mains together.

how exotic is this build gonna be

id use an aftermarket block for a turbo build if i EVER get to one

otherwise id second the 2 bolt conversion too

curious how scarce can a sb chev be in houston??????

well im not aiming to break over 900 on this motor. im also not going to attempt to rev the thing past 6700 rpm...
