Just letting you know, I sold my 1406 with the calibration kit on Ebay for $110.00. The demand is not there, too many people buy them and don't have a clue how to tune them. The only reason I sold mine is because I bought a projection system. The only reason the carb would need a rebuild is if the float sunk or the accelerator pump died! All Gaskets are above fuel! |

I have always had good luck tuning the Carter and Edelbrock carbs. Now I'm learning the ins and outs of Holley carb.
AF2 is right, you probably won't get 175.00 for it. |
