|Went to the track tonight... The air was ok for Florida standards, about 1500 DA with temps in the mid 70's and dewpoints in the mid 60's... Still kinda humid..
I only got to make 2 runs because there was a huge aintifreeze spill and they really didn't get the track as sticky as usual.. 60' times were ok but about 6 - 7 hundreds slower than usual..
On the 2nd pass (10.785) I had to get off the gas slightly to straighten out the car after I came off the line sideways (slightly). That's why the mph was down even though the temperature was lower...
My new best ET was 10.725 @ 126.52 (1.530 60' times). I've seen 1.46 60' times in hot weather and I think that on a good day, low 1.40's should be possible which would have gotten me in very low 10.60's or high 10.50's... Oh well, I'll get colder temps very soon anyways and will have plenty of chances for better ET's...
Here's the scan of my 2 timeslips from tonight...
