That's awesome, how long did it take him to get the certificates. Currently I am in a welding class working to get my certificate, sadly I will have to go one more year in the class to get one certificate.

The college he is going to is 8hrs. a day 6 days a week of cutting and welding. It is a 9 month coarse that is harder than working a job. But the good thing is he will finish the 9th and have certifications for 6 different welding techniques. He should be able to land a good paying job soon.

thats great! im seriously thinking about going to welding school so i can wake up from this auto repair nightmare. defintely a promising career in welding. especially if you have your own business

We are just waiting for P.G.E. to decide what position he will start at. The boss of the gas division wants to start him at journey man.

He ended up with 6 different certs!!! He can weld all positions up to 1 1/8 steel. All positions on stainless!! A very proud dad talking!!! Pacific Gas and Electric here we come!! The first Fitting that has a Career!!! Not busting his ass trying to make it work!!!!!!!!! Like the others have done!!!!
