I think the reason no one has replied to this one is the fact that they are illegal to use on the track and I think the street. Get a set of rims with the right back spacing JA. Rolling Eyes

Actually only the universal type is not allowed. Ones that are made by locating the centers are used widely. I know of a few 200 mph cars that use them without question and without any danger.

I'm not a big fan of wheel spacers, extra load on the wheel bearings. I'm with Paul P, try to buy wheels with the correct offset.

1-1.5 inches is a lot of space to make up. I'd get wheels with the proper offset. Cragar makes special offset steel wheels very reasonably. I don't know about aluminum ones but I had a set of steel wheels made for my Nova with a 5.5 offset for less that 15 dollars additional cost. That's for 2 wheels. I bought them through Summit Racing.

I know how that goes. If you're looking for wheel spacers check vette brakes out.

Bummer Sad about the spacing problem after the purchase of something you really like, but we got a whole bunch of input even if I was wrong about legality. Cool

I agree!! VBP has great ADAPTERS!! If you need more than 1/2 inch of spacing, you need to go with adapters. I use 1/4 inch Mark Williams Spacers on my '68 Corvette Race car without problems but it's only 1/4 inch.. Wouldn't want to go with bigger spacers.. Too dangerious.. Mark WIlliams spacers are very high quality!!
