Without the body it weighs 1560 lbs empty! With driver and body it should be 2200 lbs. That is cool with the motor I'm running should be low 9s. If I have a trans to back it Shocked

That is approximately the same weight as a VW bug, with a little bit more power than the bug I'll wager. Hope your NHRA drivers license is up to date.

A weight I wish I had. It won't be much longer and you'll be ripping up that track. V-I-D-E-O

Was watching a show on TV last night, and they had a semi truck extravaganza. Two jet trucks were covered but (ho hum) we've all seen them. Then they showed a twin screw full truck frame and stock conventional cab Peterbuilt long nose with four turbos on a Caterpillar V-8 running 210 psi of boost, which could trip the quarter in 8.57.

They had a nitro-methane supercharged Allison V-12 in a cab over Peterbuilt that was custom built as a wheel stander; painted candy apple red with pink stripes driven by a female driver (has both a CDA, and a NHRA license).

They also had a couple of Freight Liners built for match racing, one with a Detroit Diesel and the other with a Cummings cranking out over seven thousand horse each. The Detroit Diesel had vertical stacks that shot flames and smoke up over a hundred feet; the Cummings exited below the fuel tank in front of twin screw axle and you couldn't see anything after it past. Needles to say they were running a little rich.

Just goes to show you, you can make a brick fly if you apply enough power.
