I was reading an article in HRM, is it correct that these heads sell for $750 a pair assembled and flow 300+ cfm?!

What is the catch? Do they fit the generation 1 stuff? What mods might I have to do to use a set?

Inquiring minds want to know.

l-92 heads only fit ls-x blocks with a 4" or bigger bore, and have no readily available intake manifold besides the factory truck one. Upside is, i was reading you can do a lil porting to them, and viola 360 cfm

Deleted the other thread.

The L92 heads are really promising for the LSx engines. I'm considering picking up a set for the stroker LS2 for my 79 camaro....ssssssshhhhhhh don't tell the wife!

I'm going to have to come out of my cave and join the EFI computerized world eventually. But it is cold and damp back in my Carbureted hole and I've grown accustomed to it. Though I do envy the ease with which you get big numbers on really cruddy gas, and since the price of pump gas has gone through the roof I haven't bough any racing gas for my car so it has been quietly rusting for the past couple of months.

Dave the big dinosaur.
